About Gem Cable

History

Gem Cable was formed in 2000 from the installation division of Filcom Ltd, which itself had been formed in 1995. Since then, Gem has continued to develop a reputation across the UK and Mainland Europe for quality, flexibility and responsiveness.

We install data cabling of all types - from Cat.5e to Cat.7. Plus we specialise in the installation of telecoms infrastructure, such as data-hall fit-outs, containment, and the installation and commissioning of telecoms backbone equipment.

We have been based from St. Albans, just North of London since our inception, and in 2009 we opened our second office in Northampton. These two office locations allow us to cover the whole of the South of England and the Midlands with ease. We also cover the whole of the UK and Mainland Europe, from Aberdeen to Penzance, Dublin to Warsaw.

We have held ISO 9001 certification since 2008, so you can be assured of our commitment to quality and consistency.

We are assisted in the management of our Health and Safety policy by Peninsula Services.
